Join New York Moms Demand Action, Students Demand Action, and gun violence Survivors as we flood the New York State Capitol with red shirts for Advocacy Day on Tuesday, April 29th!
Advocacy Day is a powerful opportunity to connect with like-minded advocates from across the state, make your voice heard by lawmakers, push for legislative victories, and demonstrate the strength of our movement. This year, we are fighting to pass critical gun safety laws that will:
· Stop the spread of DIY machine guns in New York
· Bring New York’s Secure Storage law up to the “gold standard”
· Codify into law the New York Office of Gun Violence Prevention
A bus will be provided from Nanuet, leaving at 6:30am.
